A threatened group in a country
Eight of Guatemala's nine threatened fish are sharks and rays, and the ninth is the sailfish. The country has coast on two oceans and the list shows it: the Caribbean reef shark on one side; the great hammerhead and the oceanic whitetip, both critically endangered, on the other, together with the whale shark and the giant manta.
