Wildlife by group and country
Greece's bird list joins three small mountain parks — the Samaria Gorge, Mount Olympus and Prespa, none above 50 km² — with one marine park of 2,260. That is why the bearded vulture and the golden eagle sit alongside Prespa's two pelicans, the Dalmatian and the white, and alongside Scopoli's shearwater and Eleonora's falcon of the Aegean.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
