Macaca assamensis
It could become threatened in the near future if current threats go unchecked.
The Assamese macaque is a robust primate of the montane forests of the eastern Himalaya, north-eastern India, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar and northern Indochina. It has a yellowish-brown coat and a dark bare face. It lives in groups of several dozen animals and is omnivorous and highly adaptable, though it depends on relatively well-preserved forest. Hunting and forest fragmentation have reduced it over much of its range.
