Thailand · Andaman SeaA horseshoe-shaped limestone pinnacle out in open water, with no island around it. It breaks the surface at low tide and is submerged at high. There are two further inner columns on either side of the central one.

El nombre viene de un oficial danés apellidado Richelieu al servicio de la marina real tailandesa. Suele atribuirse a Cousteau el descubrimiento del sitio y su bautizo, pero esa versión está discutida: Cousteau no llegó a subir al norte de Koh Bon, que queda al sur de las Surin. El nombre tailandés es Hin Plo Naam.
