Guides.taxonThreatened.birds of Burundi

Six of Burundi's nine threatened birds are endangered, and the list rests on two groups: raptors and scavengers — the white-backed vulture, critically endangered, the lappet-faced, the Egyptian vulture, the martial eagle and the secretarybird — and the hornbills, the yellow-casqued and the southern ground-hornbill. The ninth is the grey parrot.
