Wildlife by group and country
Fifteen birds and five parks that have nothing in common: the cereal steppe of Alta Murgia, with the little bustard, the lesser kestrel and the calandra lark; the cliffs of Cinque Terre, with the European shag and Scopoli's shearwater; and the three mountain ones — Stelvio, Gran Paradiso and Abruzzo — with the bearded vulture, the capercaillie and the rock ptarmigan.
Places come from reviewed species-place links; the species shown at each place are only those in this group.
