Fulufjallet

Declared in 2002, Fulufjället holds Old Tjikko, a Norway spruce whose clonal root system has been dated at more than 9,500 years, making it one of the oldest individual living organisms documented on the planet; the visible trunk today is far younger, but it has regenerated again and again from the same root since the end of the last ice age. The park also protects Sweden's highest waterfall, Njupeskär, with a 93-metre drop.
